CORE 420

The Core Series 410 & 420 are Four Channel Amplifiers, optimised for high-end pro audio applications. Offering a unique advanced amplifier technology combined with tremendous power and lucid integrated DSP audio performance.

Configuration

On the 420 model  you can  select the nominal loads as up to 2 ohms, 25V, 70V & 100V Constant Voltage (CV) lines. This offers designers and integrators exceptional flexibility.

Power

The Core Series 420 model produces between 1500 Watts & 5000 Watts per channel. The amplifier will also produce between 5,000 & 10,000 Watts for a bridged pair. Note these are not, ‘transient’, ‘burst’ or ‘peak’ power figures, they are the power levels that are delivered by all channels simultaneously, even when driven with the same dense program material.

With Core Series amplifiers there is no need to ratio power between channels, you can use all the power in any format as you please. This is possible because state of the art components and a finely optimised design, results in an amplifier that is between 7% and 10% more efficient than any competitive product. This efficiency gain directly translates in to the generation of 50% the wasted energy (heat), which is clearly significant. In addition to reducing energy costs, high efficiency results in generous power reserves ensuring that pristine sound quality is maintained even under the most extreme conditions.

Control

Ethernet is used for remote control and monitoring the amplifier via The PC based application System Engineer, while the front panel, optimised for full local control of the most important features. The System Engineer application provides convenience and time saving features such as very flexible management of Presets, Overlay grouping of Mutes, Gains, Delays and EQ across an entire system.

Signal Processing

The advanced 96kHz DSP is fully integrated into the product and providing an array of unique and genuinely useful features. Because all aspects of the DSP algorithms designed are not available on products from any other manufacturer. For example, LIR (Linear phase) crossover filters which are as easy to use as more conventional filter shapes, and have less latency than FIR (Finite Impulse response) filters. Also the powerful VX Limiter suite which sports Peak, RMS and Excursion limiting, as well as multiband limiting for passive 2-way enclosures.

Flexibility

Note the amplifier can also be used with any other brand of speakers giving you full manual DSP control. This means your investment in these amplifiers goes wider than other brands.
